Zhang Yuhui, a young teacher from the Department of Fine Art, Xiamen University won the gold medal of the third Chinese Fine Art Awards with her lacquer painting work "Blooming Flower in an Age of Prosperity". Zhang's work is the only lacquer painting that received the gold medal of the third Chinese Fine Art Awards. Her work was displayed at the thirteenth National Exhibition of Fine Arts at the National Art Museum of China from December 20, 2019 to January 4, 2020. Hosted by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Artists Association, the exhibition is an intensive display of the great achievements of China's art creation over the past five years.
