On December 7, the 2019 "Science Popularization Day" hosted and organized by the State Key Laboratory of Cellular Stress Biology, Xiamen University was opened at the Museum of Life Sciences of Siming Campus. Themed "Unveil the Secrets of Life Sciences", the activity was aimed at providing the public, especially kindergarten kids and elementary school pupils, a chance to learn some basic knowledge about bioscience via activities in various forms including lectures and experiments. The "Science Popularization Day" has been held twice a year since 2015 by the Laboratory to promote the development of life sciences. This year, nearly 6,000 attendees were attracted by the activity which was highly appreciated by the citizens of Xiamen.
