On October 18, the Vice-President of Xiamen University (XMU) received Dr. Tony Raven, the Director of Cambridge Enterprise and Shirley Jamieson, the Foreign Affair Director of Cambridge Enterprise in the Xiamen University. 

Jiang first welcomed Tony Raven and his delegation and pointed out that the experience of the Cambridge Enterprise in promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and industrial development was worth learning. With the distinct disciplinary characteristics and the energetic atmosphere of innovation of XMU, Jiang believed both parties would fully leverage their advantages and features. Their strength would enhance cooperation, and jointly make contributions to promoting scientific and technological innovation, personnel training, and social services.

Tony Raven introduced the running characteristics of the University of Cambridge and explained that Cambridge Enterprise was willing to explore new ideas, tap unique resources and optimise cooperation with XMU.
